I am a multi-disciplinary artist working in video,
audio, installation, performance, photography,
painting and music.

I create many images, sounds and sequences
which become part of a palette from which I can
draw to create new pieces. I use images, sounds
and gestures in varying contexts renewing their life
and meaning to suit each new purpose as it
arises. My work addresses identity, relationship,
personal perspective, natural cycles, and the
philosophy of our existence.

Components may include fictitious interviews,
spoken word, short songs, or synthetic sound
interludes. The influence of Dada, Surrealism, and
Futurism is apparent through the use of language
for its auditory value, visual abstractions designed
to influence the psyche, and the use of liminal
narrative forms and conventions.

My art relies heavily on exciting visual and aural
constructs. Interdisciplinary studies in
performance, drama, writing, and dance
strengthen the blend of crossover aesthetic
qualities. Visual aesthetics of drawing and painting
such as form, texture, and composition combine
with those of performing arts, such as rhythm and
staging. Physical components are combined with
philosophical, poetic, and musical ideas, which
provide an audience a variety of ways to approach
a piece. Text is applied in multiple fashions,
exploiting various aspects of meaning, relationship,
and aural qualities. Work sometimes develops
through chance operation, but is then meticulously
edited to a precise orchestration.

I hope that my art can touch something in others
that lets them feel a stronger passion about their
connection to other people, their surroundings,
their world, and themselves. I hope that they can
find it entertaining and uplifting in some sense. It
would also please me to know that it gives
someone a greater sense of freedom to express
themselves in some creative way.
